Welcome to the Pastel Panda Production Studio!
My name is Sami. I'm a 31-year-old nonbinary American with a lot of ideas but not enough time to work on them. I am a hobbyist artist, writer, and amateur game developer; my goal on itch.io is to create games that people can enjoy and tell the stories that I envision with a medium that offers a great amount of freedom.
My preferred game genre is RPGs, as such my projects will be predominantly done with RPG Maker. However I am also a fan of visual novels and text adventures, so I also dabble in working with Ren'py and Twine. Expect to see a little something for each of those genres in the future.
I greatly enjoy fantasy settings as well, but I also like slice-of-life and futuristic settings too. I have a project for each of those in mind: a futuristic visual novel, a slice-of-life text adventure, and a (very large) fantasy RPG.
I am vehemently against AI-generated ANYTHING. It is an affront to artists and creators who put their time and effort into creating anything--art, music, writing--only for their work to get fed into a machine without their consent and get vomited out as something that takes absolutely no effort. "But it took me an hour to tweak all these little deta-" SHUT UP. You didn't pore over that work for several hours from draft to finish. If you support AI-generation kindly get out of my sight.
